In-Person Course Proposal Promotion

Product Description
Would you like to travel to offer your course, live and in-person? Thisn is particularly effective if you have a book to promote.

Schools host noncredit courses in which they promote the course and provide the classroom space, and you deliver the content to students they reach through their catalog and register for your class.

Normally the school sets the course fee (usually $10-$20 an hour) and then they split the gate with you 50/50. A $90 seminar with 20 attendees yields $1800, of which you would be paid $900.00 Travel and lodging expenses are your to bear, so this very well may be a break-even event for you.

Of course, if enrollments reach 50 or 100, then it is worthwhile indeed. Careful planning on your part for travel and lodging can keep expenses low enough to be worthwhile, not to mention the delight of visiting a favorite city a few times a year.

On the other hand, since the school will promote your course, naming your book, to its mailing list of commonly over 100,000, your book will see sales on amazon.com from those unable to attend the course. Consider it a paid booksigning and promotion event.

Pick an area outside of where you live, say Los Angeles or New York, and we will canvas the available schools with your course proposal and find if any will contract for your course. And if not, why not.
