Instructor: Robert Bavis This 2-day course will introduce the novice to the basics of outdoor, “top-roped” rock climbing. Students will learn basic equipment selection and care, physical movement on rock, basic knot tying, climber communication, belaying techniques, rappelling, simple safety anchor utilization/construction, and general risk management.
